The person or organisation creating a listing is responsible for ensuring that the listing:

  • Does not infringe another person's rights.

QuickList provides a platform for users to connect but does not guarantee:

  • The accuracy of user listings.

  • The quality of advertised products or services.

  • The identity of advertisers.

  • The availability of advertised items.

  • The outcome of transactions.

Users must perform their own checks before buying, selling, renting, hiring, or entering into any agreement.


4. General Posting Requirements

All listings must:

  • Delete and repost repeatedly to manipulate search results.

Examples of prohibited duplicate behaviour:

QuickList may remove duplicate listings or restrict accounts that repeatedly violate this rule.


6. Choosing the Correct Category

Users must place listings in the most appropriate category.

Incorrect categorisation includes:

  • Advertising vehicles under general products.

  • Posting jobs under services.

  • Advertising prohibited goods under unrelated categories.

  • Using popular categories only to increase views.

QuickList may move listings to the correct category or remove incorrectly categorised listings.


7. Listing Titles

A listing title must:

  • Clearly describe the item or service.

  • Be relevant to the listing.

  • Avoid misleading claims.

  • Avoid excessive promotional language.

Acceptable examples:

Unacceptable examples:

All images and videos must:

Renewing a listing does not permit users to bypass duplicate listing rules or manipulate search rankings.

Users must not significantly alter an existing listing to advertise a different item or service.

However, users must not:

Users must not use listings to:

  • Redirect traffic away from QuickList for prohibited purposes.

  • Promote scams.

  • Collect personal information unlawfully.

  • Circumvent QuickList payment or safety systems.


26. Keyword Usage

Listings should use keywords naturally and accurately.

Users must not:

  • Add unrelated brand names.

  • Add popular search terms unrelated to the listing.

  • Repeat keywords excessively.

  • Manipulate search results.

27. Automated Posting

  • Harm user experience.

Business integrations or approved API access may be permitted under separate agreements.

This includes:

  • Other user-generated content.

Users are responsible for ensuring that their content complies with this Posting Policy and applicable New Zealand laws.


69. Accurate and Honest Information

Users must provide information that is:
